Passionate Vaping Enthusiasts Have Already Started Setting Up Vaping Clubs (Photo)

In many parts of the world, vaping has created a group of passionate individuals who gather together to enjoy themselves and share their experiences with one another.
There is a huge variety of e-liquids, including flavors like rose, grape, and even some reminiscent of morning dew or fruit cocktails, all of which make things more interesting.
Vaping is the act of using e-cigarettes or mods. Most vapers were previously smokers who made the switch, began trying vaping devices, and ultimately succeeded in quitting cigarettes, and in some cases even nicotine itself.
For example, Kapadia has been vaping since 2013. The previous year, “vape” was selected by the Oxford Dictionary as a word of the year topic. “Before I started using e-cigarettes, I smoked four packs of cigarettes a day for 35 years,” he said.
Kapadia is a co-founder of the Mumbai Vapers Club, which was established two years ago. Today, three of its members sit around a rooftop table at a lounge in suburban Mumbai, introducing one another to the latest vaping products they use before vaping together.
“We don’t mind the looks,” Kapadia said. “Rooftop restaurants are one of the few safe places in Mumbai.”

The Mumbai Vapers Club holds weekly meetings where members exchange experiences, share new discoveries, and help newcomers find the right products. Today, 35-year-old Asad Mirza owns a courier company, while 39-year-old Jai Rawal is a software developer who works 15 kilometers away in a distant suburb.
There are similar clubs in India, where fans and collectors of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) meet face-to-face to offer advice and moral support, helping beginners find the best gear and quit cigarettes.
These clubs form an informal network that allows members to get help and advice even in an unfamiliar city. They can call on one another, and if they are struggling to quit smoking, they will receive encouragement. Most members share two things in common: a dislike of cigarettes and a passion for high-end vaping “mods” and gear.
“I’m not going to waste money on something that stinks,” said 39-year-old Rawal, who describes himself as a cloud chaser. Seven months ago, Rawal smoked at least five cigarettes a day.
