Yocan Evolve C – E-Cigarette Brand
Yocan Evolve C is a pen-style e-cigarette featuring a 650mAh battery and includes two separate atomizers, one with a single quartz coil for wax and the other a tank for oil. Let’s see how it performs now. If this is your first atomizer, be sure to check out our wax pen buyer's guide for useful information and tips.
Review: Yocan Evolve C

How It Works
The Yocan Evolve C is very simple to operate. The base is just a 650mAh battery with a single button. At the top, there is a 510 thread connection for attaching the atomizer and charging it.
There are two atomizer options. The first is a single quartz coil for thicker wax and concentrates. The second is a tank filled with oil or e-liquid from the top.
Once your atomizer is connected to the base, the cap slides over the top. This is just a decorative piece.
To use the Evolve C, simply click the button five times to turn it on, then hold the button to draw.
Temperature Flexibility
The Evolve C offers no temperature flexibility. The battery is either on or off. The wax atomizer has a resistance of 1 ohm, while the tank has a resistance of 1.2 ohms.
I couldn’t find any information on power output, but based on my usage, I suspect the voltage output varies depending on the battery level.
Vapor Quality
The vapor quality of this pen is good. You can’t expect it to deliver hard hits or special flavors, but it still gets the job done and is enjoyable to use.
When using wax, expect bright flavors. Since there’s only one coil, you can’t use as much material, and as long as the strength remains consistent, the vapor is very manageable. If you don’t use wax often, this could actually be an advantage.
With oil, it performs almost like most oil pens. The tank is well-made, but the results will ultimately depend more on the quality of the material. The only thing that could improve it is a fixed voltage option.
Build Quality
The build quality is average. The Evolve C has no issues, but there’s nothing particularly special about it.
It’s just a 650mAh battery that connects to two simple atomizer options. There’s no airflow or power control.
On the positive side, it’s compact and well-built.
Battery Life
The battery life is also quite average. 600-750mAh is reasonable, and I think it’s a middle ground for pen-style devices, with some being less than 200mAh and others exceeding 1500mAh or more.
If you plan to use it all day, you should also be prepared to charge it.
Portability
The portability is very good. It’s compact and small, yet sturdy enough to carry in your pocket or bag without breaking.
If you’re concerned about portability, I highly recommend using it, as the wax atomizer is too small, and you’ll need to stop frequently to refill.
The tank isn’t very large, but you can at least fill it with enough material to last longer than the wax option.
Ease of Use
It’s very easy to use. Each atomizer screws directly onto the base.
To load the tank, unscrew the mouthpiece from the top. When using it as wax, you can access the quartz coil by unscrewing the "atomizer tube" from the top.
Once you fill one of the atomizers and connect it, just click the button five times to turn it on, then hold to draw.
Discreetness
This is very discreet. On one hand, it’s nice and small. When holding or using it, you won’t find it hard to keep it hidden. The single coil is actually a plus in this regard, as you won’t produce too much visible vapor when exhaling. #p#分页标题#e#
If discretion is important to you, I recommend using it with oil settings, as you won’t have to stop frequently to refill.
Overall Experience
The Yocan Evolve C is a good choice for beginners looking to experiment with oil and wax.
I think it’s a great way to "vaporize concentrates" and "get your toes wet." It’s affordable and provides enough experience to help you figure out which material you prefer to use.
If you end up liking oil, this may be enough to stick with for a while. The only thing that could enhance your experience is something with variable voltage.
If you prefer wax, you might want to upgrade in the near future. The single quartz rod and coil won’t keep you satisfied for long, especially once you try other options. We recommend checking out the Thunder 2, which uses ceramic pads instead of exposed coils.
Or you could get a different Yocan Evolve model. I prefer the Yocan Evolve Plus over the Evolve-C. They have the regular dual quartz coil setup, and they work great.
