New Book Recommendation: Analytical Assessment of E-cigarettes
Five of the most renowned scholars researching e-cigarettes have collaborated to compile a book on the science and safety of vaping. It was published this week by Elsevier.

Konstantinos Farsalinos from the University of Patras in Greece and Riccardo Polosa from the University of Catania in Italy are among the authors of the analytical assessment report on e-cigarettes: from content to chemical substances and exposure curves.
The book also examines the chemical and physical properties of vapor production and inhalation, and discusses the measurement and assessment of harm.
In addition to Farsalinos and Polosa, three authors from the United States contributed: I. Gene Gillman on enthalpy analysis, Stephen Hecht from the University of Minnesota, and Jonathan Thornburg from RTI International. They each wrote independent sections.
Neal Benowitz from the University of California, San Francisco, wrote the foreword. The target audience for the book includes industry professionals, regulators, public health officials, and scientists.
This is part of the analytical chemistry series, and the book also includes related research on cannabis.
The book is available for purchase at the Elsevier online store, Amazon, and other online bookstores.
