Marlboro Launches the New-Generation IQOS 3.0! A Favorite Among Long-Time Smokers
The development of the e-cigarette market in recent years has been rapid, reaching a point where it is on par with traditional cigarettes. Whether abroad or domestically, e-cigarette users can be found in every corner. In this industry, IQOS undoubtedly stands out as a leader. Since I first used IQOS in 2015, I have not considered other e-cigarettes. Recently, a new product from the fourth generation of IQOS was released, so I quickly got one, and it has brought quite a few surprises compared to previous updates.
1. Changes in appearance and materials.
I have used two models of IQOS: the IQOS 2.4 plus and the latest IQOS 3.0. The differences between these two models mainly lie in battery capacity and the sturdiness of the heating element. The latter has a significantly larger battery capacity and a much sturdier heating element, making it feel much more robust during use. I always thought that the focus of IQOS updates was on performance, but this time, the update also took appearance into account.
Previously, the e-cigarette and charger were made of cool plastic material, similar to the materials used in our regular phone chargers. This new model has switched to a slightly frosted texture, which feels great in hand. The opening of the charger has been moved to the side, giving it a high-tech yet playful look.
2. Consistently "heat-not-burn".
The initial attraction to IQOS was its "heat-not-burn" technology, which releases tobacco by heating rather than burning. It is well known that most of the harm from traditional cigarettes occurs during combustion, especially with substances like tar and carbon monoxide released into the air. A portion of this is inhaled by smokers, while some becomes secondhand smoke, causing significant harm both externally and internally. IQOS eliminates the burning step, thus significantly reducing the harm compared to traditional cigarettes.
Moreover, in terms of smoking sensation, IQOS's heating method retains a smoke feel similar to that of traditional cigarettes. Many traditional e-cigarettes that use distillation to release flavor do achieve the goal of not burning, but the smoking sensation is often poor and fails to meet smokers' needs. In contrast, IQOS, while not burning, provides a smoking sensation indistinguishable from that of combustion, making it more acceptable to smokers.
Therefore, whether compared to traditional cigarettes or other e-cigarettes, IQOS is a high-quality choice.
For friends still smoking traditional cigarettes, why not try the newly released IQOS 3.0? Since there is a healthier option, why continue smoking traditional cigarettes?
