HoOT is a private smokeless tobacco manufacturer with over 200 years of history and is currently Denmark's oldest independent tobacco manufacturer, developing, producing, and selling chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products, primarily in Scandinavia and other EU member states.
Lars Dahlgren, CEO of Swedish Match, believes that successfully acquiring HoOT will complement Swedish Match's smokeless tobacco product portfolio and further enhance the company's competitiveness in the market.
