Sellers Beware: AliExpress Revises E-Cigarette Sales Policy from Restricted Sales to Full Ban
Recently, AliExpress, the cross-border e-commerce platform under Alibaba, announced a ban on the sale of disposable vaping devices containing e-liquid, as well as related accessories.
AliExpress stated that some sellers of e-cigarettes and related accessories have been misusing e-liquid keywords or displaying e-liquid in product images. To avoid confusing buyers, sellers must list e-cigarettes and accessories in compliance with platform rules. If any of the following violations occur, the AliExpress platform will impose penalties.
For sellers offering disposable vaping devices and accessories pre-filled with e-liquid or vape juice who fail to make corrections, AliExpress will return the products on October 17 following the public notice issued on October 8, with a 6-point penalty for each violation.

It is understood that AliExpress has the following penalties for violations of sales rules:
1. General violations: cumulative deductions within one day shall not exceed 12 points;
2. Serious violations: 48 points deducted per incident, with account closure;
3. Delisted products remain within the scope of “platform random inspections”; any violations will be penalized according to relevant rules;
4. For especially serious misconduct such as malicious evasion, AliExpress reserves the right to directly deduct 48 points and close the account.
