According to British American Tobacco, the launch of the Voke nicotine inhaler had been delayed for a long time, and the company has therefore terminated the product. BAT said it will focus more on developing heated tobacco products and vapor products in the future, which the company considers next-generation products.
In fact, as early as 2014, the Voke device had already obtained a medicinal license issued by the UK medicines regulator, marking the first time a British American Tobacco product had received a license from a government pharmaceutical regulatory authority. However, because the device had still not been launched by the end of 2016 and had not entered commercial production or sales, British American Tobacco decided to abandon the product and focus on developing next-generation products instead.
