Many people are first-time e-cigarette users and run into all kinds of issues, such as not knowing how to use the device or how to solve common problems. So how can you extend the service life of an e-cigarette? Let’s take a look.
How to extend the service life of an e-cigarette?
1. To make your e-cigarette last longer, first make sure the battery has enough power. If the battery is low, the e-liquid may not be fully atomized and could be drawn into your mouth, which users may mistake for a product quality issue.
2. When vaping, be careful not to inhale too forcefully. Pulling too hard can actually reduce vapor production. If the atomizer is leaking, inhaling too hard can easily draw e-liquid directly into your mouth before it has been atomized. So taking gentle puffs will often produce more vapor instead.
3. Every device has its own maximum voltage limit and estimated puff count. Users are advised to take slightly longer draws, because this gives the e-liquid in the pod enough time to be fully atomized by the atomizer, thereby producing more vapor.
4. Users should also pay attention to the angle of use while vaping. Always keep the mouthpiece facing upward and the device tilted downward. If you vape with the mouthpiece facing down and the device angled upward, gravity may cause the e-liquid to flow down into your mouth.
5. If e-liquid gets into your mouth, first turn off the battery switch, then remove the atomizer and take out the coil. Wipe away any excess leaked e-liquid inside the mouthpiece and on top of the atomizer before using it again.
6. Clean your e-cigarette regularly; it is recommended to clean it once a week. Different atomizer styles use different parts, so the cleaning method may vary. Some mouthpieces can be removed, and once disassembled down to the glass tube, it can be rinsed with running tap water and then dried with a clean tissue or cloth.
