The world's first solid-state e-cigarette, which drew widespread attention in earlier reports, has now been officially confirmed for launch in the domestic market today, December 28, 2018!
At first glance, judging from the packaging or product images, this product looks very much like a heated tobacco product. In fact, it contains no shredded tobacco, does not use reconstituted tobacco sheets, tobacco leaves, cigarette paper, filter rods, or tobacco filament tow, and is not processed using specialized tobacco machinery.
The cartridge is made using coffee, cocoa, mint, powdered spice plants, tobacco extract, propylene glycol, glycerin, and food-grade flavors as raw materials. These ingredients are blended, dried into a solid form, and then loaded into a metal tip to produce the cartridge. Its atomization principle uses a heat-not-burn method: the electronic atomizer heats the metal tip, causing the solid flavoring materials to generate aerosol.
It is understood that the minimum sales unit for the electronic atomizer is one device. The minimum sales unit for the cartridges is one carton, with each carton containing 10 packs and each pack containing 24 metal cartridges.
The cartridges are currently available in two flavors: silver coffee and light green mint. More new flavors, including fruit varieties, are being developed, and custom flavor development is also available for external clients.
Yunnan Bagu Biotech will participate as a strategic partner in the new product development, flavor customization, and product sales of the Ou Yide solid-state e-cigarette.
