Fourth-generation IQOS 3.0 e-cigarette — worth trying for smokers looking to quit
I’ve heard people say that IQOS electronic cigarettes are effective for quitting smoking, so I got one when they launched the new version recently. I’ve been smoking for over seven years, but my addiction is quite strong; at my worst, I could smoke nearly two packs a day. I was worried that my body couldn’t handle it, so I thought about quitting.

The new IQOS is the fourth generation 3.0 version, with upgrades and attempts in many aspects based on the original design. I’ve been using it for a few days now, and I feel it does a good job of reducing my cravings for traditional cigarettes, so I wanted to share my experience.

1. The vapor is strong enough to curb cravings.
I’ve used various electronic and vapor cigarettes before, but they were only good for casual use. When cravings hit, they didn’t help. However, with the fourth-generation IQOS 3.0, when my cravings for traditional cigarettes kick in, taking a puff can almost completely satisfy them. I believe this is largely due to its vapor quality, which closely resembles that of traditional cigarettes. The sensation of vapor filling my throat and mouth is powerful, and the flavor is warm, very similar to the traditional cigarettes I usually smoke.

Using electronic cigarettes to quit smoking is essentially a process of "replacement". A significant part of a smoker's addiction to traditional cigarettes is psychological; when you’re used to holding something and suddenly don’t have it, it feels uncomfortable. In such moments, electronic cigarettes serve as a good substitute. However, to truly fulfill this "replacement" role, it’s crucial to have a smoking sensation similar to traditional cigarettes. The reason I couldn’t stick with the many electronic and vapor cigarettes I tried before is that they felt too different from smoking, which I couldn’t accept. The fourth-generation IQOS 3.0 does this very well, providing a vapor sensation that closely matches traditional cigarettes, effectively curbing cravings.

2. The number of traditional cigarettes I smoke daily is decreasing.
I haven’t had the IQOS for long, but my consumption of traditional cigarettes has already dropped significantly; I now smoke only five or six a day, and sometimes even three or four are enough. Its effect on reducing cravings is subtle at first; I didn’t notice much in the first few days, but at some point, I began to see results. Since then, I’ve felt my cravings genuinely diminishing. I’ve tried to quit smoking several times before, and I know how important this feeling is because quitting is a tough process. You need to see progress every day to stay motivated.

Overall, I believe the fourth-generation IQOS 3.0 is effective for quitting smoking, and I’m confident that if I continue using it, I’ll soon be able to completely say goodbye to traditional cigarettes. Friends looking to quit smoking should give it a try.
