Suck My Mod and Wotofo's first collaborative product, the SMM RTA, has won many fans for both parties. Half a year later, they have teamed up again, with Suck My Mod providing the design and Wotofo launching the new Nudge RDA.
This RDA is available in red, black, gray, green, silver, and blue, and the square packaging includes not only the atomizer body but also an adapter suitable for 510 drip tips and a complete set of accessories.
The Nudge RDA consists of three parts: the drip tip, the shell, and the base, making it easy to clean. Its airflow is adjustable by rotating the shell to change the angle between the airflow holes and the base.
This atomizer has a good depth in its base, with four screws on top, and the original screws are suitable for bottom-fed devices.
The Nudge RDA is suitable for coils with a diameter of 3.0mm or less; if the diameter is larger, adjustments may be difficult. As seen in the image, this atomizer only accommodates a single direction of coil wrapping, which you will need to adapt to.
This is the coil wrapping direction suitable for the Nudge RDA. When installing the coil, due to the dispersion at the center positive post's locking area and the non-closed round hole, it is easy to secure when using the wide flat wire provided in the package. However, when using traditional data with 5-6 wraps, it may be more challenging due to insufficient coil width (difficult but not impossible). When wrapping to 7 wraps, it becomes smoother.
Aside from not accommodating everyone's coil wrapping habits, the Nudge RDA has no other shortcomings. Users can rest assured of its 24mm base's heat control. When using A1-0.6mm wire, 3.0mm diameter, and 7 wraps, there are no heat issues even at high power. As a side note, if 5 wraps of A1 data are difficult to secure (requiring more wraps to increase width), this product needs to be used on a regulated mod or requires users to switch from A1 to Ni80 wire to match mechanical mods; if you are a fan of fancy wide flat wires, there is no need for concern. In fact, the Nudge RDA offers smooth airflow and true flavor, which is related to the angle of the coils to the airflow holes being 45 degrees below.
However, the outer electrode screws may slightly affect the openness when adjusting the coils with a wrapping tool; additionally, for a not insignificant chamber space, the replaceability of the 510 drip tip is basically useless. But these are minor flaws; the Nudge RDA's aesthetics and excellent vaping experience are undeniable. If you are looking for a product with color matching, consider this one.
