VP Brandy Tobacco E-Liquid Review

  E-liquid products have always been a controversial hot topic. How should one choose truly good e-liquids? I can only answer, "It's hard to please everyone; you need to try it yourself." Everyone has different understandings and preferences for e-liquid flavors, leading to vastly different choices. Today, I will review the VP Brandy Tobacco from Chuanqi Weiye, which gave me a unique experience.

1. Appearance Review

The transparent pen-shaped PET bottle has a brown label, a white press-open cap, and the bold letters "BREAKING DAWN" which means dawn, quite impressive. VP e-liquid is an innovative product that Chuanqi Weiye has continuously modified. VP e-liquid comes in two flavors: "Orange Yogurt" and "Brandy Tobacco." The bottle features a Chinese label and an anti-counterfeiting label. Please note that the Chinese label clearly states: "Raw material origin: USA."

BREAKING DAWN uses a 60ml pen-style storage bottle, with a 70VG and 30PG ratio, which is very much in line with the current mainstream e-liquid configuration. However, the 4mg nicotine content is quite unusual; seeing this concentration made me want to use it only in small devices. However, during the review, I found that despite the high nicotine content, the oil is smooth upon entry and not as harsh as I imagined. Moreover, VP Brandy Tobacco has also been recognized as an environmentally friendly product.

2. Opening the Cap Review

Upon opening the cap, the aroma of brandy first enters the nostrils, followed by the rich nutty flavor of tobacco. This scent is very enticing, making me eager to experience its explosion on my taste buds. In the review, I used several atomizers: the Apocalypse dripper (5-core Clapton, 3.0 diameter, 0.07Ω), the WAKE RTA (three-core Clapton, 3.0 diameter, 0.12Ω), and the Wotofo Hive pre-made atomizer (0.2Ω).

Due to my fear of the 4mg nicotine content in Brandy Tobacco, I first used the Hive pre-made atomizer. During use, I found the brandy aroma to be very strong, but it did not clash with the rich tobacco flavor. The two flavors blended together on the palate, creating a unique sensation that was quite delightful, and I couldn't stop!

When inhaling, the initial notes have a hint of alcohol, with very little tobacco flavor; the mid-notes intensify the alcohol flavor while the tobacco remains faint; in the end, both flavors gradually fade. The alcohol flavor is hard to pinpoint, and I can't identify which type of alcohol it is; it is complex. There is no cooling sensation or distinct sweetness, but there is a hint of sweetness in the alcohol aroma. The throat hit is slightly strong, but for me, it doesn't cause coughing when inhaling.

When exhaling, the alcohol aroma slightly diminishes, and the tobacco flavor becomes more pronounced. I still can't identify the type of alcohol; the throat hit is strong, and I occasionally cough. The vapor is quite dense, and the flavor is rich.

When using the WAKE RTA, I felt that the alcohol aroma had faded somewhat, and I only sensed the brandy aroma at the initial entry, but the rich tobacco flavor was very well restored. The brandy serves more as a flavoring agent, similar to eating a lemon candy, softening the inherent richness of the tobacco, making this e-liquid overall more palatable.

As a casual vaper, I really didn't want to change my heating wire, so I just swapped out the cotton and started using a 0.07Ω heating wire to try the Brandy Tobacco. I can only say I dug a big hole for myself; the Brandy Tobacco is quite smooth upon entry, but after using it, I felt the nicotine hit me a bit hard, and after a few puffs, I was a bit overwhelmed. Using the dripper, the brandy aroma and tobacco fragrance burst forth, hitting my mouth directly. After exhaling, I could still feel the brandy flavor lingering for a long time.

3. Review Summary

BREAKING DAWN Brandy Tobacco has an excellent restoration of flavor and a high degree of complexity. For vapers who enjoy tobacco flavors, experiencing this unique blend of brandy and rich tobacco is definitely a worthwhile endeavor!
