CuttWood Boss Reserve E-liquid Review
CUTTWOOD is an e-liquid brand from California, USA. Its Chinese name is translated as “Famu,” which literally means logging. If you’ve ever played WOW, you might remember the term FARM, which is also read similarly in Chinese—so maybe CuttWood Boss Reserv
CUTTWOOD is an e-liquid brand from California, USA. The Chinese translation is "伐木" (meaning logging). I wonder if anyone has played WOW, where there is a term called FARM, which is pronounced "伐木" in Chinese. Haha, you read that right, and it’s the same as CUTTWOOD's Chinese name. So, should "伐木 BOSS RESERVE" be called "Harvesting Overlord"? At least that’s what I think.
The 30ml transparent glass bottle features a standard child-resistant cap, with the CUTTWOOD brand name and a C-shaped logo on the front, along with the product name: BOSS RESERVE.
The side label indicates a nicotine content of 0mg, along with various warning information and a barcode.
Upon opening the cap, a rich caramel and milk scent is immediately noticeable. The e-liquid is light brown in color, and it appears to have a viscosity of around 70VG.
Device data: Free-flowing atomizer, dual-core Clapton, resistance 0.32 ohms, power 44W. The inhale is very smooth with a rich caramel flavor, sweet with a hint of creaminess, thanks to the 0mg nicotine. The dense vapor flows smoothly down the throat without any irritation or throat hit, and the exhale has a prominent nutty and milky flavor, with the sweetness being less pronounced than at the initial inhale. It feels like having taken a sip of thick milk, with a delicate milky aroma and a slight sweetness. Overall, the primary flavors are nutty and milky, with the sweetness not being very noticeable, making it enjoyable without becoming overwhelming.
Device data: KFP atomizer, NI80 26GA 7 wraps, resistance 1.05 ohms, power 16W. The flavor on the inhale is very mild, with only a hint of nuttiness and creaminess. The milk flavor is well-represented, although it is somewhat faint, lacking the sweetness and caramel notes. After a few puffs, the throat sensation is somewhat similar to that on the free-flowing atomizer. Overall, the flavor on the KFP is quite mild, losing much of its character and not being very suitable.
In summary, due to the high VG content of the e-liquid, it leans towards producing large vapor clouds. On the KFP, the flavor is quite mild, while on the free-flowing atomizer with a clapton coil, it can very well replicate the flavors of nuts, milk, and caramel, especially the milk flavor is very authentic, with a milky aroma that is not overly sweet or cloying, and without the raw taste of pure milk. Coupled with a rich nutty flavor and a slight sweetness, it’s truly hard to put down.
