Taiwan Herbal Tea E-liquid Review
Hello everyone, this is Pink Elephant. This time I’m reviewing an authentic herbal tea flavored e-liquid. So-called herbal tea is essentially an herbal infusion made by boiling medicinal herbs, also known as “hundred-herb tea.” So today let’s take a look
Hello everyone, I am Fenxiang, and this time I will be reviewing a tea-flavored e-liquid called "Authentic Herbal Tea." Herbal tea, also known as medicinal tea, is made from various herbs. Today, let's see what personal experiences this "herbal tea" e-liquid brings me.
First of all, from the appearance, this e-liquid comes in a black gorilla bottle, which has a very nice texture. On the front, the name "Herbal Tea" is prominently displayed in bright yellow with embossed printing, giving a good tactile feel. The overall impression is simple and straightforward without being cluttered.
The back features the usual warnings and product information. The longer section states:
Warning: Keep out of reach of children and pets.
This product contains addictive nicotine and is prohibited for purchase or use by individuals under 18 years of age.
Pregnant women or individuals with health conditions should not use this product. (Any translation errors are my fault due to poor English.)
The shorter section lists the ingredients:
Propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine, flavoring, may contain trace amounts of peanuts and nuts?
At the bottom of the bottle, there is a small logo, and below it, it says Made in Taiwan, indicating that this e-liquid originates from Taiwan. Next to the logo is a small circle indicating the bottle size: 30ML (this seems to be a printing error, as the bottle appears to be 60ML). The lower part of the small circle indicates a nicotine content of 3mg. The bottle does not specify VG/PG content, distributor, manufacturer, production address, anti-counterfeiting marks, etc. I couldn't find any information about this e-liquid through Baidu either.
Now that we've talked about the appearance, let's open the cap and see what this e-liquid is like.
As the name "Herbal Tea" suggests, once opened, a faint herbal aroma immediately wafts out. I can't quite pinpoint the exact scent, but it feels very close to the herbal tea flavor of Wanglaoji, albeit stronger. When I squeeze out a drop, I observe that the e-liquid is colorless and transparent. Based on its viscosity, I personally estimate the VG/PG ratio to be 70:30. When I lick it with my tongue, it has a very stimulating taste, reminiscent of chewing betel nut. In terms of sweetness, it leans towards the sweet side. Now, let's use a device to vape this e-liquid and assess its flavor and vapor production.
Device 1: Sub-ohm box mod, Engine CDA atomizer.
Data 1: Dual-core staggered Clapton wire: main wire 26G x 2, wrapped with twisted 38G.
Dual coil resistance 0.14Ω, pushed at 70W.
Flavor: Since this is a 3MG e-liquid, I took a nice deep lung hit, and wow, that hit almost choked me. The herbal flavor is very rich. I expected a refreshing sweetness like Wanglaoji herbal tea, but it was completely absent. Instead, there is a strong and heavy herbal tea flavor (for those unfamiliar with herbal tea, I will add a guide at the end). The herbal taste is more pronounced than the tea flavor. When licking, the sweet taste is not felt at all. After a couple more puffs to savor it, the heavy herbal flavor remains, accompanied by a faint tea aroma. Exhaling the vapor, I slowly taste a hint of rock candy sweetness lingering on my lips and teeth, and upon closer tasting, the sweetness is even more pronounced. However, the cooling sensation still feels slightly lacking.
Vapor production: The vapor production is quite substantial, so I personally feel the VG content should be around 70%. Although it is labeled as 3MG nicotine content, it packs a punch and is definitely strong.
Device 2: Sub-ohm box mod, top-fill tank atomizer.
Data 2: Triple-core Clapton wire: main wire twisted 27G x 3, wrapped with twisted 38G.
Dual coil resistance 0.11Ω, pushed at 80W.
Flavor: Initially, this herbal tea e-liquid gave me a feeling of insufficient cooling on the Engine. Switching to the top-fill tank provided a slight increase in cooling, but the rock candy sweetness in the aftertaste diminished significantly, and both the herbal and tea flavors became much lighter. Perhaps the lower resistance affects the flavor reproduction of this e-liquid.
Vapor production: Still quite substantial, lung hits are strong, definitely big clouds. Suitable for cloud chasing.
So, what exactly is herbal tea? Wanglaoji is a well-known herbal tea, right? In fact, Wanglaoji is a type of medicinal herbal tea made from various herbs, known for its cooling and heat-clearing effects, which everyone is aware of. Therefore, herbal tea is also a type of herbal tea.
My experience with this authentic "herbal tea" e-liquid from Taiwan ends here. Overall, my personal impression of this herbal tea e-liquid is that the vapor production is quite good. In terms of flavor, since I usually don't vape tea-flavored e-liquids, I can't say I particularly like it. In my opinion, if the herbal flavor could be toned down, and the sweetness and tea flavor could be enhanced, along with an increase in cooling, it might be better. However, for those who enjoy herbal flavors, it is worth trying. The above impressions are purely personal opinions.
