isummer Zero Degree Watermelon E-liquid Review
This time, the product being tested is the isummer Zero Degree Watermelon, produced in the USA and represented by the well-known Beijing Mankosway International Trade Co., bringing a touch of coolness to this already warm March.
[Appearance]
Standard 60ML e-liquid packaging. The packaging features a large red watermelon along with some cartoon characters, colorful and quite fun. It's mostly in Chinese, with various warnings, ingredients, concentrations, and ratios clearly visible! Pretty good, pretty good, 3mg 60ml is basically the standard for large vapor fruit oils nowadays. The e-liquid is dark red, with a low viscosity, resembling watermelon juice.
[Smell]
Upon opening, a sweet watermelon bubblegum scent fills the air, quite fragrant and sweet. When the cap is opened, the watermelon scent becomes even stronger, but there's also a hint of the oily taste from glycerin, as the PG:VG ratio is 30:70. After moistening the cotton, the e-liquid's color is also quite vibrant red, closely resembling the color of watermelon itself.
[Testing]
Upon inhalation, the coolness slightly intensifies, but it's not overly cold; the throat hit is moderate, and the vapor is smooth, yet a cool sensation can gradually extend from the mouth to the lungs. Exhaling brings a mix of coolness and watermelon juice, reminiscent of a refreshing glass of watermelon juice in autumn, with both coolness and the sweet aroma of watermelon lingering in the mouth... there’s a bit of an oily taste... somewhat like when I previously mixed too much VG into other e-liquids, perhaps the 70% VG is a bit high for me. Once the oily taste dissipates, the sweet aftertaste of watermelon bubblegum provides a pleasant surprise.
[Summary]
1. The overall flavor of the e-liquid is not overpowering, and it’s not cloying; the coolness and sweetness are quite well-balanced.
2. As a product from the USA, the overall flavor style of the e-liquid is indeed closer to the American e-liquid flavor profile, which differs significantly from some so-called American e-liquids currently on the domestic market.
3. This e-liquid is more suitable for low-resistance, high vapor setups. I’ve tried it with a CP atomizer and single coil, but the experience wasn’t as good as the previous data testing; high vapor, watermelon juice in a puff or two, very enjoyable.
So, although this highly anticipated Zero Degree Watermelon didn’t bring me the refreshing and sweet experience I imagined, it still has a high degree of authenticity. There aren’t many watermelon-flavored e-liquids on the market, so if you’re like me and enjoy watermelon flavors, you might want to give it a try.
This concludes my experience with this e-liquid; thank you all for watching.
