SMOK Veneno Kit Review and Impressions

After a few days of working on it, this review of the SMOK Veneno kit is finally done. SMOK is already a very familiar vaping brand to most users, and even with the Spring Festival approaching, the pace of its product launches hasn’t slowed down at all. J

The review of the SMOK Veneno Kit has been brewing for a few days, and when it comes to the SMOK brand of electronic cigarettes, everyone is undoubtedly familiar with it. As the Spring Festival approaches, their product launch speed remains unabated, showing no signs of slowing down. Just recently, they launched the SMOK S-PRIV (skull) kit while everyone was still getting to know it, and now they have introduced the SMOK Veneno (poison) kit. It seems that 2018 will be another year for them to showcase their R&D strength.

The packaging of the SMOK Veneno follows the classic flip-top style. Upon removing the packaging, you will find: 1*SMOK Veneno main device, 1*TFV8 Big Baby Light Edition atomizer, 1*replacement glass tank, 1*USB charging cable, 1*user manual, 1*spare atomizer coil, 2*spare parts bags, and 2*decorative rings.     Careful players may notice two obvious characteristics in SMOK's recently launched products: first, the appearance is somewhat peculiar, and second, attention has been paid to detail, especially the improvement in the feel of the product. As seen in the picture, the appearance of the SMOK Veneno is quite unique, with a heavy use of line elements.     Especially the hollow design on the back (with built-in LED breathing light) gives a very masculine and rugged feel. Additionally, the color combinations are very thoughtful; the black and red version in hand is a classic, with silver-black, red-gold, purple-red, and rainbow options available.   SMOK Veneno Kit Review The dimensions of the SMOK Veneno are 85*30.6*47.3MM, maintaining the size of mainstream dual-battery devices, providing a full and substantial grip. Upon handling, it is evident that the feel of the SMOK Veneno is indeed excellent. As seen in the picture, the product's corners are rounded, and the front features a raised design.     These features contribute to an enhanced feel. Additionally, the paint finish on the SMOK Veneno is quite thick, with a nice gloss. The craftsmanship of the SMOK Veneno has also improved significantly, with good quality control.     The top features a mainstream gold-plated adaptive 510 connector. Personally, I feel that adjusting the connector to a centered design would be more aesthetically pleasing when paired with an atomizer, but that is purely a matter of personal preference.     The front display screen measures 1.3 inches, and the UI interface displayed is still familiar to players. It shows commonly used data such as battery level, output mode, puff effects, working voltage, and resistance of the heating wire. The pink section shown in the picture can change colors, with six options provided by the system.     The red button below the display screen serves as the +/- button, with moderate hardness, quick response, and a prominent design that is easy to reach. However, due to its prominence, it may feel a bit wobbly when tightly fitted to the body. Reducing the height of the protrusion slightly would improve this aspect.     The design of the fire button on the SMOK Veneno is also quite thoughtful. While maintaining the original style, it has also focused on the feel and integration with the main body. As seen in the picture, it is not only rounded in appearance but also fits more smoothly and naturally with the body, resulting in a very nice effect.     The battery cover of SMOK's dual-battery devices is generally located at the bottom, and this is no exception. It has also been optimized for easier opening and more secure locking. The battery cover features a locking latch, and the grooves on it are deep enough to facilitate unlocking.     Opening the battery cover is more convenient; after installing two 18650 batteries, the connection between the battery cover and the body is very secure. Furthermore, the internal treatment of the battery compartment, including the metal contacts and the markings for positive and negative terminals, is done quite well, including the craftsmanship.     Utilizing LED lights flexibly in both the atomizer and the main device can be said to be SMOK's forte. Although some players may not like it, the actual effect is commendable. This time, the SMOK Veneno features two LED light strips and five LED light strips on the back, totaling seven light strips that make the product quite eye-catching. The light strips support 12 color displays and three display effects, and the system allows players to turn them off if they prefer.     The atomizer paired with the SMOK Veneno kit is a familiar face, still the light edition of the TFV8 Big Baby atomizer, featuring top-fill and bottom airflow, along with colorful lighting effects (achieved by changing different colored O-rings). It can be considered a very conscientious flavor-oriented product atomizer. Of course, if you have specific requirements for the atomizer, feel free to use your favorite atomizer, as it can also achieve a perfect match with the main device.     In summary, the SMOK Veneno kit has many highlights, especially the overall feel of the device, which is quite excellent, providing a very comfortable grip. The black and red combination is also classic, and the chip's response is very quick.     User experience:
The main device feels great, with a large firing area, allowing you to fire it however you want! The high-definition large screen, multiple body colors, and cool LED light strips make it a perfect device for nightclubs! Dual battery 225W high output!
The flavor and vapor production of the atomizer are a world apart from my previous Nautilus X, rekindling my appreciation for pre-built atomizers!
To be honest, entering 2018 and experiencing two SMOK kits has left me most impressed by the feel and craftsmanship, reflecting that SMOK is paying more attention to user experience. If you need a dual-battery device kit for advancement and appreciate its aesthetics, the SMOK Veneno kit is worth considering.
