Upon opening, the rich blend of chocolate and milk combines with a noticeable salty aroma. The moment it enters the mouth, the light fragrant milk, rich chocolate, slight sweetness, and a wonderfully subtle salty taste all rush in together, creating a strong and full flavor impact, where each taste seems to blend yet can be distinctly perceived. However, the potato chip flavor described in the taste seems to be unnoticeable; instead, the aftertaste in the mouth resembles that of a taro ice cream.
MAGNUS - Caramel Green Apple with Crushed Peanuts
Upon opening, you can smell the fruit pie aroma made from green apples, with a balance of sweetness and saltiness. The taste of green apple is not as dense as the aroma suggests; rather, it is closer to the scent of real green apple juice, with a slight acidity and sweetness that perfectly captures the freshness of the fruit. However, after this fresh taste, the exhalation transforms into the flavor of caramel apple pie, creating a striking yet natural transition between two completely different styles, with a charmingly contradictory flavor impact. As for the crushed peanuts, a hint can be found in the aftertaste in the mouth.
TABIYA - Mint with Cantaloupe and Sea Salt
The aroma upon opening is that of honeydew, blended with a hint of freshness and saltiness. Upon vaping, the cool sensation of mint brings out the cantaloupe flavor, which has a slight resemblance to chewing gum. As your taste buds adapt, the not-so-strong mint coolness decreases, highlighting the cantaloupe flavor with a bit of sweetness and subtle saltiness. This flavor is very straightforward, with the three elements clearly and directly felt. Looking back at all the flavors from Five Pawns, perhaps this flavor is the most "refreshing".
The three flavors in the Blue Label Sea Salt series still embody the simple yet complex "emotion" of Five Pawns, with the transitions between flavors resonating with fans. So, although this is a new chapter, it still retains the nostalgic and familiar taste characteristic of Five Pawns, remaining a "fun" e-liquid. As for device recommendations, a 70VG:30PG ratio seems suitable for sub-ohm tanks and dripping products (this series is not suitable for mouth-to-lung atomizers). After repeated testing, using a 22mm dripping atomizer with 0.4 or 0.5mm wire and a 2.5mm diameter range can better perceive the layers of each flavor. However, if using a mesh coil, the tendency to emphasize one particular flavor characteristic may disrupt the rich layering of Five Pawns e-liquids; traditional coils are the best choice for old-school e-liquids.
