This time I want to share with you WonderFlavor Fries Time. I had previously tried the Honey Grapefruit Love and really liked it, so how will this one feel?
When I opened the package and saw the outer box, I was genuinely shocked; I didn't expect it to be such a large box, big enough to hold with one hand. The packaging is exquisite, with a red and yellow theme indicating that it is tomato fries, and the cartoon images of an uncle, a fighting chicken, and potatoes give it a KFC vibe, successfully tricking my wife into thinking "this is KFC's new liquid fries"... However, thinking back to the recent news that "the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) sent warning letters to some companies stating that these products packaged with nicotine are misleadingly presented as food items for children, such as juice boxes, candies, and cookies," I decided to keep this packaging box instead of throwing it away.
On the packaging that we can understand, it adheres to WonderFlavor's consistent style, being rigorous and detailed. The two-dimensional anti-counterfeiting code, product ingredients, manufacturer information, production date, precautions, and other content are all included. However! This time I found a very bad issue; please pay attention, the production date on the outer packaging does not match the production date on the bottom of the e-liquid bottle. I cannot accept that the outer packaging has a production and shelf life, and I hope the manufacturer can take this seriously.
Inside the packaging are two bottles of e-liquid, one 30ml tomato and one 100ml fries. Such a large capacity shows the manufacturer's confidence. The common pen-shaped bottle body, press-type cap, and a 30:70 ratio are all familiar. When I opened the cap, the large bottle smelled just like a freshly ordered portion of fries from KFC, with a clear potato fragrance; while the small bottle had the taste of ketchup. Yes, it's the kind of ketchup that makes you ask the staff for extra packets in KFC, and it is very well replicated.
This time I used the Updraft and Axis RTA for testing, Clapton coils, dual coil at 0.16Ω for Updraft, and single coil at 0.42Ω for Axis.
Updraft + Fries: The moment I hit the fire, the fresh fried fries flavor filled my mouth; it wasn't too strong, with a slight sweetness, and after exhaling, the potato flavor became more pronounced, which I really enjoyed.
Axis + Tomato: Sour and sweet, a very strong sourness, the taste of ketchup is well replicated. But this feeling isn't too pleasant; why? Just try eating a packet of ketchup by itself and you'll know.
So it still needs to be mixed; after all, the manufacturer produced this combination for a reason. I tried several ratios, such as 1:1, 2:1, 1:2, etc. Ultimately, I believe that a 1:3 ratio best replicates the flavor of ketchup fries. Perhaps the manufacturer considered this when making the two flavors 30ml + 100ml. The Updraft gives me the feeling of being starved after a game and bingeing on a pile of fries; after all, the vapor is larger, and the entire mouth to lungs to nose is filled with the flavor of fries wrapped in ketchup; comparatively, the Axis feels more like a girl, with each fry lightly dipped in ketchup, savoring it in small bites. As for which one I prefer, it's subjective.
According to our eating habits, fries are more often eaten in KFC or McDonald's. Those who like them naturally enjoy them; however, they often worry about the fat content leading to obesity and other issues. Perhaps this Fries Time allows us to indulge in deliciousness while refusing fat and maintaining health!
