As the weather gradually warms up, it feels as though summer has quietly arrived, and the vaping market has also entered a period of pushing out new e-liquid products. The reason is simple: as temperatures rise, many “warm-profile” e-liquids are no longer suitable for extended use. Combined with the heat, they can sometimes feel overly rich. By contrast, “cool-profile” e-liquids are especially well suited to this season and can be enjoyed for long periods without feeling overly cold.
Cool-profile e-liquids can remain popular all the way until late autumn. But does that mean warm-profile e-liquids can only exist when temperatures drop? Of course not. Everyone’s taste is different, so no one should make sweeping judgments. Recently, the editor received a very interesting e-liquid: Mint Ice Cream, translated as “Mint Vanilla Ice Cream.” Is it a warm-profile or cool-profile e-liquid? Don’t rush to a conclusion, because it is actually a combination of both. Outer packaging Mint Ice Cream comes in a 60ML black PEI bottle, which effectively blocks sunlight and reduces the chance of deterioration. The graphic on the bottle label is cheerful and seems to carry a kind of “back to the past” magic. Amusement Park is the name of the e-liquid series brand, while Mint Ice Cream is the flavor name. With blue as the main background, accented by candy pink, mint-leaf green, and the contrast of ice cubes, the design is full of a lively, joyful atmosphere.
The side of the bottle is printed with an English introduction, precautions, and most importantly, the “China ID card” information. Most notably, this e-liquid contains only 1mg of nicotine, helping ensure that even extended use won’t feel overwhelming.

Upon opening the bottle and smelling it, a relatively rich vanilla aroma comes forward immediately. The ice cream note is lighter than the vanilla, but still quite expressive. Mixed within is a hint of candy-like scent, somewhat like hard candy and somewhat like bubble gum, though it’s hard to identify perfectly just from smell alone. The mint note is a bit unusual—not the clear freshness of mint leaves, mint crystals, or menthol. Instead, it feels more like spearmint. Anyone who has used Yunnan Baiyao products will probably understand the sensation.

The inhale is soft and very smooth. The first flavor to stand out is spearmint. Since this mint profile is very different from the usual kinds, it may feel a little unfamiliar at first, and you need to get used to it gradually while vaping.
The vanilla is fairly rich, smooth but not cloying, and no weaker than the vanilla note found in some established brands. The creamy ice cream character is more prominent, but it lacks the stronger “sweet richness” typically associated with ice cream. The candy note is almost imperceptible, though you can still catch a slight hard-candy impression. The spearmint flavor changes somewhat depending on temperature, so the editor recommends using it at around 0.2-ohm resistance.

The moment the cap is opened, the first thing that hits you is a fresh aroma of vanilla mixed with lemongrass. Beneath the rich vanilla scent is a faint creamy note. The strong layering seems to contain traces of mint leaf, suggesting this may be a cooling e-liquid. However, because the cooling sensation is relatively mild, it can be inferred that the coolness level is below medium. Based on the name alone, the first impression might be that this would be a heavy or overly rich e-liquid, but during the smelling experience, the creamy note does not take up too much of the profile. Instead, with the addition of spearmint, the overall impression becomes fresher.

The first clearly perceptible note is a dense spearmint aroma. Different from menthol, the spearmint character makes the e-liquid feel fresher overall. The cooling sensation is not especially intense. A light creamy ice cream fragrance sits behind the spearmint, while the relatively high sweetness slightly disrupts the overall balance.
The throat hit is somewhat light, and the smoothness is quite high. On the exhale, the sweetness decreases, while the creamy ice cream note fades even more noticeably. The rich spearmint then becomes fuller and more pronounced. The cooling effect stays at a below-medium level, making it easy to enjoy even for users who don’t usually like cooling e-liquids.
Summary
Mint Ice Cream from the Amusement Park e-liquid series gives off a youthful vibe in its bottle design. Using spearmint as the main note is something of a pioneering approach in the industry. The vanilla and ice cream flavors are well balanced, with a faint candy note hidden within, appearing and disappearing subtly. Overall, it feels smooth without becoming cloying, making it suitable for users who enjoy mint e-liquids. With only 1mg nicotine, using more of it won’t feel overwhelming, and the smoothness is significantly improved, making it quite refreshing.
