Now, I only want to use this product. But to be honest, it is quite similar to RELX, yet it has improved on that foundation. In summary, the user experience is better and more comprehensive.

First; Appearance
Both have a relatively simple and elegant design. I personally prefer this (but it’s a matter of personal taste). However, I should mention that AMMO doesn’t jump straight to the point; it has a two-layer packaging design. The outer layer is a paper package printed with the product design and some manufacturer information, and upon opening, you find a white rectangular box. Honestly, this layered unboxing gives a gift-like feeling; I don’t know if you feel the same, but I do. I must say, this small design shows the manufacturer’s thoughtfulness.

Contents: Both come with two pods, a USB charging cable, a device body, and a user manual. The only difference is the flavors of the pods; RELX comes with Refreshing Mint and Classic Tobacco, while AMMO comes with Mung Bean Slush and Romantic Su Tobacco. In terms of flavor, I prefer Mung Bean Slush because it is delicate and smooth, reminiscent of the mung bean ice cream we had as kids—sweet and fine, overall very pleasant. The Romantic Su Tobacco is more suitable for veteran smokers, providing a light tobacco flavor with a slight cooling sensation, similar to smoking traditional cigarettes.
RELX’s flavors are relatively limited, but before encountering AMMO, I still liked RELX. Now, I plan to stick with AMMO. It’s not that RELX is bad; it’s just that overall, it doesn’t feel as comprehensive and comfortable as AMMO.
Battery Capacity:
Both officially have a battery capacity of 350mAh, claiming that a charge of 45-60 minutes will last a whole day. However, when I used RELX, I often had to charge it for an hour to get about 400 puffs. AMMO, on the other hand, only needs about 45 minutes to charge and lasts a whole day, with the next morning still usable for a while. You can see the difference is quite obvious. Colors:
RELX comes in five colors: Rose Gold, Classic Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Starry Gray, while AMMO offers five colors: Classic Black, Pearl White, China Red, Hibiscus Purple, and Coral Blue.

The RELX is slightly longer than the AMMO, but lighter. Personally, I prefer something with a bit of weight because it feels more substantial in hand. The AMMO is made from zinc alloy and POM, giving it a matte texture. Holding it feels like holding an Apple phone.
Flavor:
RELX mainly offers Classic Tobacco and Refreshing Mint pods, but the manufacturer has also launched more novel sweet fruit flavors: in addition to Tropical Fruit, Summer Mango, and Drunken Blueberry, there’s also my favorite Summer Iced Lemon Tea flavor.
AMMO currently has twelve flavors available, including Romantic Su Tobacco, Mung Bean Slush, Icy Cool, Cold Lychee, Tropical Fresh Mango, Golden Pineapple, Blueberry Burst, Watermelon Taro, Icy Red Sunset, Almond Lululu, Betel Nut Flavor, and Chuanbei Loquat.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that RELX recently released a new e-cigarette called Alpha, claiming it has no condensation and doesn’t leak oil, etc. However, I’ve personally tested it, and it’s quite similar to their previous products; it’s mostly just marketing hype. I want to secretly tell you that I’ve experienced all the advantages they promote in the AMMO e-cigarette, so do you think I would still choose RELX? One more downside I didn’t want to mention is that I used to use RELX, and the first device didn’t leak oil and was quite durable, but later on, it started leaking oil and even damaged my device.
