2018 was the year of the pod system, and with the emergence of pod systems, many pod e-liquids have also been released.

Like the large cloud e-liquids, there are a variety of options that can be overwhelming, making it hard to decide which one to buy.

I have tried several pod e-liquids; some taste good, while others are heavily homogenized.

Unlike large cloud e-liquids, none of the pod e-liquids I have tried have left me amazed.

I think this may be related to the structure of the pod systems and the limited space in the atomization chamber.

Therefore, the current requirements for pod e-liquids have shifted from the initial desire for flavor to the basic need for a smoking alternative.

I have always believed that pod systems are meant to replace smoking, so the tobacco flavor should take priority.

Let's get started!

The packaging of QUARTO is quite nice, featuring a cute, short, and stout 30ml pencil bottle. QUARTO Nicotine Salt Pod E-liquid Review The outer layer is sealed with plastic, and there is a Chinese sticker indicating the flavor and some basic information.

Produced by Shenzhen Aipusi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., the production date is in August, so it is still very fresh oil.

After removing the plastic seal, this information becomes less important; the vaping experience is the key.

The front sticker design is quite mystical; it’s hard to categorize its style, and the pattern makes it difficult to think of it as e-liquid packaging.

However, the black tone is quite appealing.

The left bottle is original tobacco flavor, 40mg; the right bottle is lucky tobacco flavor, 35mg.

The inner packaging has English information, which I will skip (mainly because I don’t understand it, haha).

The oil is clear and has a uniform color.

The lucky tobacco has a slightly darker color than the original tobacco, looking more flavorful.

Let’s start with the original tobacco.

Upon opening the bottle, a strong tobacco flavor is immediately noticeable, similar to most tobacco oils.

You can easily identify it as a tobacco flavor, but it’s hard to distinguish what type of tobacco it is.

I have been vaping these two oils for four days now, and I’m finally writing down my impressions.

Since I started using pod systems, my pace of trying new oils has noticeably slowed down, haha!

I chose to use the Knife and Comma devices (these two are convenient for changing cotton, and I’ve been enjoying them lately).

This original tobacco gives me an impression similar to the original tobacco flavors from Salted and Yanyu, with a hint of traditional roasted tobacco feel, a slight astringency, and a touch of bitterness.

The inhalation and exhalation are smooth, with a throat hit present but not strong, making it quite comfortable.

The lucky tobacco is quite nice! First of all, the name is great.

Upon opening, it has a more fragrant aroma than the original tobacco, with not only the tobacco scent but also a sweet aroma reminiscent of chocolate.

I just want to say this oil is great to vape; I’ve been using it in my Knife for the past few days.

It’s very smooth, and the vaping experience feels like the chocolate-flavored tobacco I used to roll by hand, probably a cocoa sweetness.

This pod e-liquid does not have the astringent or dry feeling when exhaled, which I really like.

For both of these pod e-liquids, I looked up the flavor descriptions after trying them.

The merchant's description states that the original tobacco is blended with hand-rolled tobacco, while the lucky tobacco is a mix of vanilla and Western American tobacco, with Virginia tobacco added.

Upon further vaping, I still feel that the nutty flavor in the original tobacco is not very pronounced.

As for the lucky tobacco, compared to vanilla, I still think it resembles cocoa more.

Everyone has their own preferences; discussing the complexity of flavors in pod systems seems a bit too mystical, and I personally don’t quite grasp it.

My feeling is simply whether it’s enjoyable to vape or not, and whether it can effectively replace smoking.

The throat hit of these two oils is similar to that of traditional cigarettes but slightly lighter, not as intense as cigarettes.
QUARTO Nicotine Salt Pod E-liquid Review It effectively satisfies cravings; when using them, I noticeably smoke fewer traditional cigarettes.

Personally, I prefer the second lucky tobacco, with its unique sweet aroma, though there is a hint of artificial flavor, overall it’s quite good.

This is just my personal experience; as always, everyone has their own preferences.

I would like to thank Lao Jing for the opportunity to find a pod e-liquid that I really like.

That concludes my experience with the two tobacco-flavored pod e-liquids from QUARTO.
