Steam Duo has launched its very first e-liquid: ICE JADE. One look at the lightning-and-vapor-cloud logo tells you it was designed by "Brother Shui," a well-known member of the Steam Duo community. With its fresh color scheme and the jasmine flower, green tea, and cup icons on the side of the box, plus the name itself, it’s easy to assume this is a cool, tea-flavored e-liquid.
Inside the package are a 30ml glass bottle of e-liquid and a 10ml needle-tip refill bottle. With a 70% VG ratio and 3mg nicotine strength, it’s clear that this product is geared more toward dripper-style flavor performance.
As one of the world’s three major beverages, tea is familiar to almost everyone. And as someone from Fujian, I’m even more familiar with jasmine tea. Even so, tea-flavored e-liquid is still quite a niche category. Now that the bottle’s open, it’s time to try it. Let’s take a pull first! (1VP RTA, single-coil dual-core Ni80 Clapton wire, 0.35 ohm.) Huh! On the inhale, what comes through is a fresh jasmine tea fragrance with just the right touch of minty coolness. The heavy alcohol smell I noticed earlier is nowhere to be found. Then, when exhaling through the nose, you can feel the liquor aroma blending perfectly with the jasmine tea note, though the dominant flavor of the e-liquid remains jasmine tea.
