This time I’d like to share the WonderFlavor Yanyu series, an e-liquid specially designed for pod systems.
As for the outer packaging, it comes in a hard box styled like a cigarette pack, with a fairly simple design on both the front and back.
When opened, it looks like this, containing three 10ml bottles of e-liquid. I think this packaging is quite good and convenient to carry when going out.
There are 3 bottles of e-liquid, with a 50VG/50PG ratio, 10ml each, and 10mg nicotine salt strength. One bottle is Mint Capsule and two bottles are Strawberry Tobacco. There may have been a packing mistake, since two identical bottles were included, so a bit more care would be appreciated!
Since I always like to take a few puffs and can’t keep my mouth idle, I currently have no plans to buy a pod system, so this time I used the Gobang atomizer for the test. The 10mg nicotine salt strength was still acceptable on the Gobang.
28-gauge A1 wire, 2.5mm inner diameter, 7 wraps, resistance 1.2 ohms.
First, let me talk about the Strawberry Tobacco, of which I’ve already finished one bottle:
Mango Slush is probably a favorite e-liquid for many people, whether when they first got into vaping or even now. As for this Strawberry Tobacco, to me it is basically a Strawberry Slush.
The strawberry flavor is obvious and very authentic, with no strange artificial flavoring. Why do I call it Strawberry Slush? Because apart from the difference in the main flavor, its cooling sensation and throat hit are very close to Mango Slush.
One difference is that this series uses 10mg nicotine salt. In actual use, I can take 10 consecutive puffs of Mango Slush, but with this Strawberry Tobacco, just two puffs in a row already give me a strong nicotine hit……
It’s called Strawberry Tobacco, but honestly I could hardly notice any tobacco flavor.
Now let’s talk about Mint Capsule:
Personally, I’m not particularly into mint flavors, which is why even buying toothpaste can be annoying for me……
The main note of Mint Capsule is definitely mint. The flavor is moderate rather than overpowering, so it’s easy to accept. In terms of throat hit, it is the same as Strawberry Tobacco, which suits the taste of a veteran smoker like me very well.
The tobacco note in the finish is excellent, similar to the aroma you get when opening a fresh pack of cigarettes, that tobacco fragrance inside the pack, and it pairs very well with the mint flavor.
Summary:
It truly lives up to its positioning as something made for pod systems—it is very satisfying! Since I used a Gobang atomizer, the vapor output is definitely higher than that of pod systems, but I believe it would also perform very well on high-resistance pod devices.
I’m also satisfied with the e-liquid flavors. Their characteristics are distinct, and even after several puffs in a row there is no strange artificial flavor.
It also performs well in terms of coil gunking. Compared with some other tobacco e-liquids, residue buildup is much less.
One thing worth mentioning is that both of these e-liquids can make your mouth feel dry, and as a result I’ve definitely been drinking more water these past two days……
I think this series could release larger bottles in the future. It doesn’t necessarily have to be only for pod systems. Based on my own testing, the 10mg nicotine salt strength is still plenty usable in a regular MTL atomizer.
