The tobacco flavor has always been the foundation of e-cigarettes, and many e-liquid manufacturers have launched numerous products in this area. The market is flooded with tobacco-flavored e-liquids, which appeal to both beginners and seasoned users who have a fondness for tobacco! As the market's diverse demands for tobacco flavors have become more complex, various mixed tobacco flavors have dazzled consumers. However, a while ago, a particular trend emerged in various regions: mixing a specific tobacco-flavored e-liquid with glycerin in a 1:9 or 2:8 ratio to create a wonderful vaping experience.

Later on, regarding tobacco flavors and mixed tobacco flavors, a unique formula was developed focusing on nicotine and its raw materials, reducing throat hit and nicotine content to create a "tobacco flavor" high VG e-liquid suitable for producing large clouds. Since the emergence of high-quality tobacco-flavored e-liquids that can be used with low-resistance devices, a "tobacco craze" swept across the country for a while. However, due to the rapid emergence of various e-liquids, this trend was soon overshadowed.

Nevertheless, this did not deter enthusiasts who love tobacco-flavored e-liquids from pursuing them. At the Shenzhen exhibition in April, a tobacco flavor series was discovered, which had high flavor authenticity and smoothness, leading to a phenomenon of "hard to find a box" at the exhibition.

CIG&CO does not have a Chinese name yet, but enthusiasts have given it a very fitting name - Black Hat e-liquid.

Packaging

The packaging of Black Hat e-liquid is quite interesting, using a hard paper "gift box" design that allows you to peel back a sticker on the right side to observe the contents inside. The front of the packaging features a large illustration of a gentleman wearing a black hat and a black trench coat, holding a smoking e-cigarette with a very content expression. Below is its logo and name. The back features the names of its series flavors, bottle capacity, and precautions.

The e-liquid comes in four flavors: CLASSIC Tobacco, MACADAMIA Nut Tobacco, CHOC TRUFFLES Chocolate Tobacco, and ICE BLAST Tobacco. Each e-liquid is packaged in a 15ML bottle with a nicotine content of 3MG, totaling 60ML in a gift box.

Upon opening the packaging, the left side is printed with English, which is essentially the "story" of this e-liquid series. The right side contains four bottles that resemble "cigars wrapped in kraft paper." The side of the CIG&CO e-liquid bottle is printed with a flavor chart and nicotine content. The paper packaging is designed with a perforation below the bottle cap, allowing you to tear off the top packaging while keeping the lower part, giving it an antique feel.
Black Hat CIG&&CO Tobacco Series E-liquid Review Classic Tobacco

Upon opening, the tobacco aroma is rich and fragrant, without the harshness often associated with tobacco. The throat hit is very smooth, with no strong irritation. The tobacco flavor is quite refreshing, with a weak throat hit. The sensation from the tobacco feels like a lighter version of tobacco, but not pure tobacco. Compared to the tobacco sensation, the sweetness of the wheat is slightly stronger, permeating the entire vaping experience.

Overall, the experience is quite rich, but the sweetness is slightly higher than that of other tobacco e-liquids, making it more suitable for low-resistance vaping.

Macadamia Nut Tobacco

The throat hit is quite smooth, with a slight irritation during vaping. The roasted and nutty flavors are quite pronounced, especially the hazelnut flavor, along with a subtle peanut note. The tobacco flavor is somewhat subdued, but you can still feel a clear light tobacco sensation during vaping.

Throughout the vaping process, the flavors of cheese and macadamia nuts dominate, increasing smoothness while balancing some sweetness. Due to the roasted and nutty flavors being predominant, the throat hit increases slightly. Using a low-resistance atomizer may lead to a slight dry throat sensation, so hydration is necessary.

Chocolate Truffle Tobacco

The throat hit is quite smooth, with a slightly reduced sweetness compared to the previous flavor, and no noticeable irritation. The first sensation upon inhalation is a strong chocolate tobacco flavor, with a rich intensity. The flavor of black truffle is well-represented, showcasing a slight "bitterness." The chocolate flavor is not cloying but reflects the softness of white chocolate and its unique smoothness. The sweetness is moderate, and long-term vaping does not lead to any cloying sensation.

Ice Blast Tobacco
Black Hat CIG&&CO Tobacco Series E-liquid Review The throat hit is quite smooth, with the minty sensation being moderate and within an acceptable range for the general public. The sweetness is the lowest among the four e-liquids, while the cooling sensation is the highest. The tobacco flavor is very light, not resembling the experience of domestic cigarettes, but more akin to the sensation of "foreign cigarettes."

The mint flavor is very smooth, and the name "Ice Blast" is quite fitting. The overall vaping experience is refreshing, and long-term vaping does not lead to any cloying sensation; instead, there’s a subtle feeling of "I want to vape more," continuously urging the reviewer not to stop.

Conclusion

The CIG&CO Black Hat series e-liquids come in four flavors, each offering a different vaping experience. Personally, I believe that for tobacco, the best experience is with the classic tobacco; if the sweetness were reduced slightly, it would be even more enjoyable. For mint, the Ice Blast tobacco analogy is quite appropriate, similar to the sensation brought by Hong Kong's "Good Fortune" cigarettes. As for the roasted type flavors, it’s subjective; I personally prefer the chocolate truffle, and testers have rated it highly. The phenomenon of "hard to find a box" for Black Hat tobacco at the exhibition seems to be well-founded.
