VVILD Vape Review: Is VVILD Any Good?

For a company with no prior involvement in the vaping industry, launching a product quickly often means combining its own shell design with an ODM product from a manufacturing partner. VVILD is very much such a product. Its design was provided by the Smar
For someone who has never ventured into the vaping industry, quickly launching a product undoubtedly means piecing together their own shell with an ODM product from a factory.

The VVILD vape is such a product, designed by the team from Smartisan Technology, and even the promotional copy exudes a strong "Smartisan flavor."

Undoubtedly, while this startup project is led by Peng Jinzhu, Luo Yonghao and the Smartisan team must have participated in the development of the VVILD vape.

This product is now available on JD.com and is about to start pre-sales. The VVILD vape is the second vaping brand created by a "high-ranking official" from Smartisan, the previous brand being Fulu, founded by Zhu Xiaomu.

Unfortunately, both of these vaping brands seem to be somewhat "out of time," as vaping was indeed a trend before, but currently, due to concerns about its negative impact on youth and increasing smoking rates among teenagers, governments worldwide are imposing strict regulations on vaping. The FDA in the U.S. has a particularly harsh stance on vaping, and domestically, vaping is gradually being included in stricter "smoking bans."

Although vaping claims to be less harmful, the pods still contain nicotine, a chemical that can lead to addiction. Young people who purchase vapes for fashion or to follow trends can easily develop a smoking habit, which can spiral out of control.

For example, this VVILD vape has a major selling point of "harm reduction." Indeed, vaping is less harmful to the body compared to regular cigarettes, but for those who do not smoke, such products are still "deadly weapons."

Currently, vapes can be easily purchased online, and due to low manufacturing costs, more and more people are entering this industry, leading to a proliferation of various vaping products online.

Upon seeing the design of the VVILD vape, my first reaction was "cheap." The sharply defined metal shell paired with a plastic mouthpiece that lacks any special design looks like a product that came out of some unknown factory in Shenzhen.

For comparison, I found an image of a similar product:

The difference is quite obvious when comparing the two. Clearly, the VVILD vape is a product that was rushed to market, and its design has not been refined at all.

In terms of core features, the surface parameters of various vapes are actually quite similar. Higher-end products often have larger battery capacities, unique technologies in the atomizers, or specially formulated e-liquids.

At first glance, the VVILD vape seems to have all the functions mentioned: harm reduction, atomization, and battery life, but when you scroll down the product details, you will find that the extensive content is mostly related to health, while the information directly related to the vape itself occupies only a small portion.

This vape does not mention any special technologies; features like honeycomb ceramic atomization and oil leakage prevention are already common in the industry. Compared to competitors, the VVILD vape does not have any standout highlights.

I browsed through the product details of competitors, and at least in terms of selling points, they mention cavity design, smart monitoring chips, mouthpiece materials, etc., which we do not see at all in the VVILD vape.

At this point, the gap between professionalism and amateurism becomes evident. Peng Jinzhu, new to this industry, rushed to launch a product for sale without understanding what users need or considering how to improve the vape. It seems like an attempt to capitalize on the current popularity of vaping and the opportunity for Luo Yonghao to promote it.

Such products are easily identifiable as ODM, and in terms of the core of the vaping industry, the VVILD vape appears quite immature and lacks originality.

If I were a smoker, after comparing several options, I would definitely not choose the VVILD vape. Whether you smoke or not, if it weren't for Luo Yonghao, many people wouldn't even know about this brand or that such a product exists on the market.

Entrepreneurship is certainly a good thing, but in my opinion, such entrepreneurship lacks significance. The VVILD vape's design and copywriting are even inferior to the Flow vape previously made by Zhu Xiaomu.

Interestingly, if you observe closely, you will find that the Flow vape and the VVILD vape are structurally very similar. In fact, their solutions come from ODM; it's just that the Flow vape has more "original content" in its product, making it appear less crude compared to the VVILD vape.

Chasing trends, entering the market at low cost, and making a quick profit seems to be the main significance of the VVILD vape's existence.
