As an essential consumable for building coils, the choice and method of using wick cotton have a major impact on atomizer performance. When choosing consumables, they should not only be easy to use, but also offer good value for money. Considering both factors together, bacon cotton is indeed a very good option.    The Rhino brand, well known for its various wires and fancy coils, has also launched its own Rhino Bacon Cotton. After getting Rhino Bacon Cotton, many users wonder how these strip-shaped pieces of cotton should be used properly so they can be used more efficiently and fully deliver their intended performance.    Compressed Rhino Bacon Cotton is very dense, so before use it needs to be stretched sideways. When stretching it, pay attention to the amount of force you use and avoid pulling the fibers apart. After stretching, the width of the cotton will become about four to five times wider than before. Based on the fiber arrangement of Rhino Bacon Cotton, it is recommended not to stretch it lengthwise. How to use bacon cotton: a simple method you’ll understand right away    After stretching, the Rhino Bacon Cotton can be split into three equal sections. The separated cotton strips are easier to shape and easier to thread through the coil. These thirds are especially suitable for passing through coils with the commonly used 2.5mm and 3.0mm inner diameters.    When used on an RDA, each of the cotton strips split into thirds can then be cut in half from the middle for dual-coil builds. Tests showed that when the cotton strip was threaded through a 3.0mm coil, the resistance felt just right, with no need to adjust the strip width. The two ends of the cotton could easily reach the bottom of the juice well in most RDAs.    For RTAs with smaller chambers, such as the Goblin, each cotton strip split into thirds can be cut into three shorter pieces. Testing showed that with only slight trimming at both ends, the cotton segment could neatly block the juice ports of the Goblin atomizer, making it very convenient to use. When using a 2.5mm coil, only slight thinning of the cut cotton piece is needed for it to pass through perfectly. How to use bacon cotton: a simple method you’ll understand right away    Properly stretching and trimming Rhino Bacon Cotton not only greatly reduces waste and helps each pack last longer, but also creates some space between the fibers, improving e-liquid retention and wicking speed in the coil. This results in a very noticeable improvement in the overall vaping experience.
