For DIY atomizers, installing the cotton wick takes time in addition to coil building. Many leaking or burnt-coil problems may come from this step, so today I want to share some practical cotton wicking tips for DIY atomizers. A forum user previously ment
DIY atomizers require not only wire winding but also a considerable amount of time for cotton preparation. Many issues like oil leakage or burnt wicks can stem from this, so today I specifically want to share some tips on cotton wicking for DIY atomizers. Last time, a forum member mentioned that it would be better with pictures. After some reflection, I realized that without images, it's hard to convey the truth, so this time I included illustrations.

This isn't exactly a method for making cotton but rather a form of pre-processing. Overall, the better the VAPE cotton, the less significant the manual tearing becomes, as it can ensure an even content of long fibers through its manufacturing process.

So whether or not to hand-tear should be based on the actual cotton you are using.
