A Finance Director’s Vape Review: Lamborghini Vape, RELX, IQOS, and High-Power Devices

Four years ago, after a health check, I basically switched to vaping. Seeing how popular e-cigarettes are this year, I thought I’d share my experience.
In May 2014, I was promoted to Finance Director, and my salary increased several times, but my workload and stress increased at least tenfold. I started smoking again, and during the busiest times, I would go through a pack every two days, but when things were quieter, I could go a week without finishing a pack.
When I went for a check-up in 2015, the doctor advised me to quit smoking, probably because my body was sensitive to it, combined with poor eating and resting habits. But quitting wasn’t easy; every time I faced accounting or funding issues, I felt the urge to pull my hair and smoke.
So I didn’t quit smoking until I went for a teeth cleaning and was told I had started to develop tobacco stains. That was a real shock, and I immediately booked a teeth whitening appointment. I don’t know if it was psychological, but I felt my fingers were yellow, and my face was getting dry and yellow too, making me increasingly paranoid. Eventually, seeing other young women in the office drinking health tea, I decided to quit smoking for good.
Women will really do anything for beauty!
【First E-Cigarette: IQOS】
IQOS was the first e-cigarette I chose, bought through a Japanese agent. It was very popular and expensive back then, but the price has since dropped. True to Japanese quality, it feels very refined; I really like the appearance, and the white color matches my daily outfits perfectly.
Its cartridges heat tobacco without burning it, making the experience very similar to smoking real cigarettes. The flavor is familiar, reminiscent of the strong black tea I drank as a child.
However, one downside is that if you don’t finish a cartridge, you can’t remove it; otherwise, it gets stuck inside. Sometimes when I’m busy and can’t smoke, I have to leave it there until it finishes heating, which is really frustrating.
Also, it’s hard to buy this product; I can accept a higher price, but having to order from Japan every time is quite inconvenient. In the end, because it was too close to real cigarettes and still contained tobacco, it hindered my quitting process, so I switched to something else.
Later, partly for fun and partly because I thought I understood e-cigarettes better, I got into larger cloud-producing vaping devices.
【Cloud Chasing】
One night, I was craving a smoke but resisted the urge to go buy cigarettes. Instead, I browsed forums and saw people sharing about cloud chasing; vaping culture is also very popular in Europe and America. I followed some expert posts and bought an entry-level device.
I assembled the heating core, capacitor, resistance, e-liquid, and cotton according to the posts. The various theories made my head spin, and I randomly chose a ceramic one, spending about 800 yuan in total. The selection process was quite torturous, and I almost gave up. But in the end, for the sake of making big clouds, I persevered.
When I got it, let’s not even talk about the flavor; the clouds were indeed huge. Unfortunately, I have no talent for it and couldn’t make the fancy smoke rings like in the videos, which was frustrating.
To be honest, the e-liquid I mixed was hard to vape; it was very harsh and irritated my throat, and I couldn’t use it in the office because the clouds were too big, and I was afraid the smoke alarm would go off. During that time, I ended up buying cigarettes at work.
In summary, cloud chasing was just a time-consuming and costly endeavor for me. It’s really not suitable for a girl like me.
【Various Attempts】
Later, I bought some e-cigarettes recommended by friends on Taobao, but to be honest, they didn’t feel right; some clearly had poor-quality e-liquids. I remember one e-liquid leaked and ruined one of my LV bags, which broke my heart.
When JUUL became popular in the U.S., I wanted to try it, but a smoking female friend told me it was just okay and too windy, so I gave up.
【Good to Vape but Leaky: RELX】
Later, I bought RELX because I have a good impression of the brand since its CEO is also a woman. I first tried a disposable one, the mint flavor, which was very smooth and didn’t feel cheap, but the packaging was really disappointing—just a layer of simple paper box, truly disposable.
I also bought the RELX with replaceable cartridges; the packaging was a bit better than the disposable one, but half of the cartridges leaked. However, I tolerated it for the sake of the flavor.
Funny enough, when I went to smoke with a new intern, we both took out our RELX devices, both mint flavor, and it was a bit awkward at that moment, so I stopped vaping that at the office.

Now I’m using a Lamborghini e-cigarette that a friend gifted me. He heard me talking about it at the dinner table and sent it to me a few days later, saying it wouldn’t be embarrassing at all.
【Current Favorite: Lamborghini E-Cigarette】
This Lamborghini e-cigarette is produced by the Italian Lamborghini family known for their sports cars, and it’s said to be a luxury e-cigarette priced at 599 yuan. For a luxury item, it’s not really expensive. I thought the packaging would cost at least 2000 yuan.
In terms of flavor, it’s on par with RELX; I’ve been sticking to a few flavors that I find quite nice. It doesn’t leak. The packaging and the quality of the e-cigarette feel very high-end, so I casually gifted one to a senior executive in the company, and everyone had good feedback.
Speaking of this, the Italian brand’s e-cigarettes don’t require finding agents; you can buy them directly from JD and Tmall, which is super convenient, and they have anti-counterfeiting codes. Right now, I’m really fond of this Lamborghini e-cigarette; as my friend said, if you didn’t know, you’d think I was their spokesperson.
That’s it; I didn’t expect to go on for so long. This can be considered a vaping review. I hope everyone enjoys reading it.
