What Is a Big Cloud Vape?
In the past two years, a type of large cloud vape has become popular in the electronic cigarette market. Compared to traditional electronic cigarettes, the most significant feature of this type of vape is its size; not only does it produce a large amount of vapor, but the sensation is also much stronger than traditional electronic cigarettes, and the atomizer is also larger. Not to mention, it is much larger than traditional cigarettes.
The biggest advantage of this large vape is the substantial vapor production, which is satisfying. For those who are new to electronic cigarettes, it might be a bit overwhelming, as they are used to smoking very small cigarettes, and suddenly using such a large device can be psychologically challenging. But who can deny its popularity now?
The principle of large cloud vapes is quite similar to that of regular electronic cigarettes; the main difference is that the battery capacity is larger, the atomizer has been improved, and the heating wire performs better than before, allowing for more e-liquid to be stored. The principle remains the same: powered by a battery, the atomizer heats up to produce vapor.

Many factors influence the size of vapor produced by electronic cigarettes, not just the e-liquid.
1. The ratio of PG/VG in the e-liquid: It must be said that the e-liquid indeed plays a significant role in affecting vapor size (Note: PG stands for propylene glycol, VG stands for vegetable glycerin). A higher VG content results in larger vapor production.
2. Battery voltage: With constant current and resistance, a higher voltage results in more vapor production. The popular large cloud vapes on the market now come with digital displays showing voltage and resistance.
3. Atomizer resistance: With constant current and voltage, a lower resistance results in more vapor production. The EGO series electronic cigarettes typically have a resistance of 1.6-2.5Ω. 3.0Ω is still relatively rare because higher resistance produces less vapor, which can be unsatisfying. As technology matures and demand increases, resistance can be made lower, even reaching fractions of an ohm. This allows for large cloud vaping, where a single puff can envelop the head in vapor.
4. Current: Vapor production is also related to current. With constant voltage and resistance, a higher current results in more vapor production.
5. The lung capacity of the person vaping: For EGO series electronic cigarettes, the difference is not very noticeable. However, with high-power electronic cigarettes, lung capacity plays a significant role. A person with a larger lung capacity will produce a lot of vapor with one puff, while someone with a smaller lung capacity will produce only a little vapor.
6. Airflow: Under certain conditions, larger airflow results in more vapor. Before 2014, the electronic cigarette industry did not have a concept of airflow; as long as there was airflow, it was sufficient.
