Alibaba and JD to Stop Selling Vaping Devices and Accessories to US Buyers Tomorrow
Alibaba said it will stop displaying and selling vaping devices and accessories to US buyers from October 10, citing concerns over youth use and potential public health risks in the United States.
Alibaba announced that it will suspend sales of e-cigarettes and accessories to US buyers, aiming to alleviate concerns about underage use of e-cigarettes in the US and address potential public health issues related to such products.<\/p>
According to reports from the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Alibaba stated that starting from October 10, e-cigarettes and accessories on its e-commerce platform will no longer be displayed to US buyers. However, it will fulfill orders that are already on their way to the US.<\/p>
The US has previously seen a series of lung disease cases related to e-cigarettes, resulting in several deaths.
