The Pulze 2.0 features a compact all-in-one design, allowing for 25 uses on a single charge, providing a higher level of convenience.

According to Imperial, when used with the iD heated tobacco sticks, which now come in 10 different flavors, Pulze offers an attractive, potentially lower-risk alternative for consumers looking to quit combustible cigarettes.

“Our consumer-centric approach to innovation is accelerating the development of all categories,” said Andy Dasgupta, Chief Consumer Officer of Imperial Brands, in a statement. “Pulze 2.0 is another significant milestone in Imperial's journey towards a healthier future, providing consumers with an alternative way to enjoy relaxing and pleasurable moments.”

Heated tobacco devices like Pulze release nicotine and tobacco flavor without combustion. Research indicates that this means the harmful chemical content in the aerosol produced by Pulze is significantly lower than that found in cigarette smoke.

The Pulze 2.0 was initially launched in four markets—Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Greece—and will be more widely rolled out across Imperial's heated tobacco footprint in Europe for the remainder of 2023.

Heated non-combustible tobacco is part of Imperial's strong focus on building a next-generation product business. The company has also recently launched major product innovations in vaping, including the new Blu 2.0 and Blu bar devices, as well as nine new varieties of its rapidly growing Zone X brand of nicotine pouches.

The launch of Pulze 2.0 coincides with Imperial CEO Stefan Bomhard and CFO Lukas Paravicini presenting the progress of the company's transformation at the New York Consumer Analyst Group meeting held today in Boca Raton, Florida.
