Japan Finance Ministry Approves Retail Price for IQOS 4 Tobacco Sticks
Japan’s Finance Ministry approved retail prices for the new Terrier-series tobacco sticks, a new lineup for IQOS 4.0. Prices for 11 flavors were approved at 550 yen in Japan.
On June 11, the Japanese Ministry of Finance authorized the retail price for a tobacco stick series named "Terrier." The tobacco brand "Terrier" does not currently exist in the world, but looking at its lineup, it is clear that it is a new flavor for IQOS. Specifically, it is the new IQOS 4.0 dedicated tobacco sticks, with a total of 11 flavors approved for sale at a price of 550 yen in Japan.

According to the published data, the production location is Italy, the same as the previous version of tobacco sticks. Since IQOS 4.0 uses electromagnetic heating technology (without heating blades), all its tobacco sticks must be improved, with the tobacco paper at the head containing iron molecules for heating. The advantage of electromagnetic heating technology over heating blades is its fast heating speed, no waiting for the heating process, and no need for cleaning, making it cleaner and more convenient to use.
