PMI Japan has announced the launch of the heated tobacco device lil HYBRID for sale in Japan. The release date is set for Monday, February 15, with the main device priced at 6,980 yen, the vapor cartridges at 60 yen, and the MIIX cartridges at 500 yen. Additionally, the machine being launched in Japan is the Lil Hybrid 2.0, not the older version released in 2018.
Lil Hybrid will be sold nationwide in Japan through IQOS specialty stores and convenience stores. Lil Hybrid is a product of Korea's KTG, which has already collaborated with PMI to sell FIIT and the heated tobacco device LIL 2.0 in Russia.
Lil Hybrid features various functions not found in traditional heated tobacco devices.
1. The display shows the number of uses and the remaining liquid amount.
2. The vapor cartridges work together with the tobacco cartridges, producing more vapor than IQOS with just tobacco cartridges.
3. Automatic start: the machine heats automatically when the cartridge is inserted.
4. No cleaning required: the machine cleans itself.
