However, according to feedback from IQOS customers in Japan, using the official cleaning swabs can cause the heating blade to break. Several of our customers have also experienced broken heating blades. The company is currently taking the issue very seriously. As of 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the official figure released was that 20–30% of units had developed problems. However, the actual number appears to be much higher. For those who have already purchased one, we recommend that you do not use the original cleaning tool.
