Philip Morris International Launches New IQOS Device in South Korea
Philip Morris International has launched the IQOS heated tobacco device in South Korea. After strong sales in Japan since 2014, the company is now expanding IQOS further in Asia.
Philip Morris International has launched the IQOS device in the South Korean market.
According to the company, Philip Morris International had already launched the device in the Japanese market back in 2014, and it has since performed well in Japan.
In response to Philip Morris International’s launch of a heated tobacco device in South Korea, British American Tobacco also stated its intention to introduce a similar product in the South Korean market in order to compete with Philip Morris International.
