On December 21, 2017, Sichuan Tobacco launched its “Kuanzhai (Bullet)” heated tobacco product in the Seoul area of South Korea. By now, I have no idea which revision the version in my hands is—every update has brought some improvement in flavor. The one I have now is the latest original flavor.

Kuanzhai Original sits somewhere between Marlboro Rich Original and Smooth Original. The biggest difference from Marlboro is that Marlboro tobacco sticks don’t really give you much tobacco leaf flavor when smoked, while Kuanzhai has a distinct cured tobacco taste.
