IQOS 2.4 Plus User Experience
I tried many vaping devices when quitting smoking before, but never liked the flavor. On a trip to Tokyo last month, my driver to Narita Airport was using IQOS, and it tasted surprisingly satisfying.
I had tried many e-cigarettes before to quit smoking, but I could never get used to the taste, so I didn't dare to buy one. Last month, while on a business trip to Tokyo, the driver who took me to Narita Airport happened to be using IQOS.
I tried it and was quite satisfied with the taste; it was very similar to barley tea. The driver was also smoking the light Marlboro blue flavor, and when I asked him where to buy it, he mentioned that his friend sells it.
Since I had some time, I asked him to take a detour to pick it up. I ended up with the 2.4 Plus, unboxed it, tried charging it, and smoked a few sticks. After arriving at the airport, I transferred him 1300 RMB. At the airport,
I bought six packs of tobacco sticks duty-free, all Marlboro, three of each strong and light flavor. I remember they were about 3000 yen per pack, which is roughly 180 RMB. After returning home, I checked the prices and regretted not bringing more!
I've been using it for about a week now and have smoked seven or eight packs of tobacco sticks. I prefer the light blue flavor; I have a decent smoking habit, usually starting with one and a half packs of regular cigarettes a day. I don't recommend the deep blue strong flavor.
I tried two packs of the strong flavor, and my throat always felt dry, making me want to drink water. The taste is intense and a bit harsh on the throat, which I didn't like.
At first, I occasionally experienced low smoke volume, but later realized that after the heating stick's light stopped flashing, I needed to wait another five or six seconds for the best taste and smoke volume.
Also, I don't recommend charging the heating stick while it's in the charging case, as the manual advises against it, as it can easily damage the heating stick.
