The report shows that the company's net revenue exceeded $40 billion in 2025, with nearly $17 billion coming from smoke-free products. The company stated that its sales have achieved five consecutive years of growth and continues to commit to expanding its smoke-free business. Currently, the smoke-free segment accounts for a significant share of total revenue, with over 43 million adult users globally.
PMI reiterated its expectations for continued growth from 2026 to 2028 and its commitment to shareholder returns, while also mentioning ongoing investments in innovation and regulatory progress for alternative products. The company noted that despite facing a complex operating environment with regulatory pressures, geopolitical risks, and shifts in consumer behavior, the performance at the beginning of 2026 provides confidence in achieving its long-term strategy.
