BAT has launched a new version of its Glo heated tobacco device. Glo is a heat-not-burn product that generates fewer and lower levels of toxic substances compared with traditional cigarettes.

According to the company, the Glo Hyper Pro is lightweight, fits easily into a consumer’s pocket, and offers improved performance. With this new device, a full charge takes about 90 minutes and can last all day. After charging, consumers can expect around 20 uses in total.
BAT Chief Strategy and Growth Officer Kingsley Wheaton said in a statement: “We are proud that more than 8.8 million adult consumers now use Glo.” “This latest version is our most advanced to date and significantly improves the user experience. We continue to listen to consumers and improve our products so that they find Glo a satisfying alternative to continued smoking. Ultimately, BAT’s goal is to support smokers in switching to these lower-risk products, delivering benefits for consumers, society, and our stakeholders.”
The broader Glo range is sold in more than 20 markets worldwide. The Glo Hyper Pro has already launched in Japan, Italy, and Poland, with further global market rollouts planned for 2024.
