IQOS 4 Renamed IQOS ILUMA, Dedicated Tobacco Sticks Named TEREA
IQOS 4 was reportedly renamed IQOS ILUMA, using induction heating instead of a blade. The new heated tobacco system requires dedicated tobacco sticks under the TEREA brand.
The current latest model is the “IQOS 3 DUO,” but the follow-up model, the “IQOS 4,” will be released under the name “IQOS ILUMA.” What is certain is that IQOS ILUMA uses induction heating with no heating blade, and one advantage of induction heating is faster heating speed. Adopting this new heating method means it requires dedicated tobacco sticks, and the tobacco stick brand for IQOS ILUMA has been named TEREA.
The tobacco inside the stick is wrapped in a specially made ultra-thin metal layer. It is the metal part located where the QR code appears in the image.
