On June 10, according to foreign media reports, Poda's founder and CEO Ryan Selby stated that after six years of development, Poda Lifestyle and Wellness is ready to bring its revolutionary HnB product to the public. In a letter to shareholders, Selby detailed the company's recent achievements and shared his plans.

Founded in January 2015, Poda's vision is to create outstanding heated tobacco (HnB) products. The company set out to address a major pain point in all HnB systems: cleanliness.

Selby stated that after six years of technical design and refinement, it has launched a product that provides a powerful, flavorful, and consistent user experience.

"Poda is now essentially the only company in the world capable of producing closed-system HNB cigarettes," he said. Its Beyond Burn pods have been patented in over 65 countries.

Additionally, the company has developed a heat-resistant biodegradable material made from the cell walls of sustainably harvested plants. "This naturally derived, low-cost material allows us to produce patented Beyond Burn Poda Pods in an ethical and sustainable manner," Selby said. Poda has applied for patent protection for its proprietary biodegradable plant cellulose material used in the manufacture of closed-system HNB cigarettes and its proprietary manufacturing methods.

The company's smoke-free Beyond Burn Poda Pods contain a proprietary blend of tea leaves and synthetic nicotine, providing the satisfaction and sensory experience of traditional smoking without the smoke and mess.

Recently, Poda signed a binding letter of intent with ESON to launch its products in China. Earlier this month, tobacco industry veteran Juan Manuel ("Jon") Ruiz joined Poda's strategic advisory board. Ruiz is a key executive at Philip Morris International, where PMI was internally developing its heated tobacco products.

"Jon's experience and expertise from the fast-moving consumer goods market is of extraordinary value to Poda," Selby said.

Less than two months ago, Poda's stock was listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the company is currently awaiting final approval for its stock to be listed on the U.S. OTCQB exchange.

Meanwhile, Poda's pilot manufacturing facility is fully operational, producing over 400,000 units of closed-system heated tobacco cigarettes per month. "We established this pilot facility to validate each of our manufacturing technologies, and I am pleased to report that we are now ready to scale our production capacity to nearly any volume," Selby said.

In the coming months, Poda will actively seek distribution opportunities with carefully selected partners in strategic locations worldwide.

"As CEO, I have the responsibility to lead Poda towards our goal of becoming a major player in the global heated tobacco market," Selby said. "I know we have an excellent product, but that alone is not enough. We must make smart choices and take calculated risks to grow the company as quickly and sustainably as possible."
