KT&G Launches FIIT Tobacco Sticks in Russia and Ukraine
In August, KT&G and Philip Morris International jointly launched the lil Solid heated tobacco device in Russia, marking KT&G’s first entry into the Russian tobacco market through a multinational partnership.
In August this year, KT&G and Philip Morris International (PMI) jointly launched a heated tobacco product named lil Solid in the Russian domestic tobacco market.

On September 8, KT&G announced that after launching the product in Russia on August 17, they would expand the product's availability to Ukraine, marking a full entry into the global heated tobacco market. Ukraine, with a population of about 42 million, is also a country interested in heated tobacco products, similar to Russia.
The lil Solid launched in Ukraine comes in deep blue, white, and blue colors, with dedicated cartridges available in Fiit REGULAR, Fiit VIOLA, and Fiit CRISP flavors, the same as those launched in Russia. According to the agreement with KT&G, PMI plans to fully manage the product's sales in the Ukrainian market using its resources and infrastructure. The head of KT&G's NGP business unit stated: Through the ongoing collaboration between KT&G and PMI, the countries where lil Solid is available will be expanded to Ukraine. We hope that the unique technology and differentiated innovation of KT&G's lil Solid will circulate in the market, expanding consumer choices.
