Japan Marlboro Prices Rise by About RMB 25 After October 1
Following Japan's tax increase from October 1, Marlboro heated tobacco products are expected to rise from 460 yen to 500 yen per pack.
IQOS has already submitted an application to the Ministry of Finance and is expected to implement a full price increase in line with the October tax hike plan. The price of the 460-yen packs will be adjusted to 500 yen per pack. A carton of Marlboro is expected to increase by about RMB 25.
